What Photos Help Us Estimate Your Move?

Photograph each room, the access at both locations, and the big or awkward pieces — a few photos help us plan the crew, time, and equipment for a more accurate estimate.

Photos are one of the fastest ways for us to understand what your move or cleanout actually involves. A few pictures help us plan the crew, the time, and the equipment — and they help us give you a more accurate estimate the first time around.

Photograph each room and the items being moved

Walk through each room and snap a picture of what's there — boxes, furniture, and anything else that's coming along. Don't skip the garage, basement, or storage area; those spaces tend to hold more than you remember. The goal is a picture of the whole job, not just the easy parts.

Show entrances, stairs, and the route to the truck

When you can, include the access at both locations:

  • Entrances, exterior steps, and tight hallways.
  • Stairs and stair turns at either location.
  • Elevators and elevator entrances, plus whether a reservation is required.
  • The path between parking and the door at both pickup and delivery.

Access changes the time a job takes and sometimes the equipment we bring. Seeing the route helps us spot tight turns or long carries before moving day.

Capture large, heavy, fragile, or awkward items

A few photos of the biggest or trickiest pieces tell us more than a description alone. If you know the dimensions or the approximate weight, include those too — and tell us if you already know a piece needs packing, disassembly, or special handling.

Photos help us understand the scope. They don't confirm a booking or guarantee a final price. Your estimate reflects the agreed items, access, and services — and we'll discuss any changes with you before proceeding.

Keep private information out of your photos

Aim the camera at the items and the space, not at people, mail, financial paperwork, medications, or anything else personal. A clear shot of the belongings and the access is all we need.

Where your photos go

You can upload photos right from the quote form when you request a quote. If you'd rather text them over, send them to (833) 322-4809. Either way, they come with your request so we can review the job and send back an estimate based on what we see.
